Auscultation
Auscultation is the most Simple of diagnostic test. It is listening to the internal sounds of the body such the heart of the lungs. Auscultation is performed with a stethoscope to more easily hear various normal and abnormal sounds, such as normal or elevated heart beat sounds and the usual heart beat sound changes associated with breathing versus heart murmurs for the purposes of examining the circulatory system and respiratory system.
